McCaig's Way

Location! Right in centre of main high street. Surrounded by good places to eat and drink, all within walking distance. Big floor space with separate bathroom bedroom and then a kitchen area with everything you need, and a lounge with good TV, right in the middle of town. We had a couple of issues with no hot water, and a power cut, and the owners were on it very quickly, sent workmen round who were great- and sorted the problems very quickly indeed - great communication channels that worked.

Description of the place!! Although directions were accurate, we drove past the place 3 times, as this great apartment space was hidden behind a nondescript black door on the corner of a one way tiny side street, sqaushed between a chippy and a Turkish Barbers, with 3 marked parking bays outside, and all were always full. If you missed it, you drove up a really small steep hill and had to go all the way round the one way system to try again. Parking had to be managed carefully to avoid oustaying the time in the bays, and was ofetn up to 10 minutes walk away - not a problem once luggage unloaded, but not a place for anyone unfit, or with accessability issues. Inside hall way/staircase a bit grubby intidy, and looked as if it could be a haven for seedy deeds, but the aprtment itself was secure, and amazingly good.

There was a delay in getting messages from Booking.com, the third party we used to book. Luckily we called the host directly and they were able to provide check-in information on the spot.

The flat was clean and pleasant overall - the rugs in the living room area could be better/cleaner, and some basic kitchen necessities, like a chopping board, would make it much more practical to cook up some breakfast.

Was centrally located.very clean and comfortable. Everything you needed in the apartment. Couldn't fault it.will definitely be returning.

No parking g but only a short walk to a couple of long stay car parks.so not really a problem.

Stairs to property - two flights up. Loud traffic noise morning and evening! Water not hot in the morning

It was good location and food place all around to suit every taste easy access to appointment and finding it. I like view from kitchen dining area over looking sea can watch ferry and boats coming in while have morning cuppa.

Only one problem no parking at property any space you got had to pay for two hours then would have to renew ticket.

Location was excellent flat in general was very good with everything you need provided decent size with good layout. Shower head moves about due to it requiring a new lock holder and dirty silicone around shower tray could do with being replaced but all in all would certainly recommend these apartments and would stay again. Logement en centre ville, proche gares de bus, train et bateau pour visite des environs et de l'île de Mull Nous avons pu cuisiner moules et st jacques achetées au poissonnier (le top) Le logement est bien agencé Tout était parfait

Peut être renouveler les poêles et les casseroles qui ont un peu vieillies (l'inox résiste mieux) et rajouter une passoire Sinon, tout était bien
