AEI liked the hotel’s location, which was very convenient, and the bed itself was comfortable. However, the bedding experience was disappointing — the sheets and pillows did not appear fresh or well-cleaned and lacked the crisp white standard typically seen in international hotels. As a frequent business traveler for over 40 years since moving to the UAE, regularly staying in 5-star hotels worldwide (including Africa), I have consistently experienced much higher housekeeping and hygiene standards, which unfortunately are often overlooked in India.
Compared to international hotels, the bathroom standards need improvement. Issues such as outdated fixtures, inconsistent cleanliness, water splashing outside the shower area, and inadequate ventilation reduce comfort. Upgrading fittings, improving housekeeping checks, and focusing on hygiene details would help bring the experience closer to global standards.
