SEThoroughly enjoyed the Malabar hospitality. The rooms were very good and the city view from the window was amazing. Staff were kind and the breakfast was really good with wide selection.

Service is ordinary Room is small and nothing much to speak of. I would say too small for any small room in a 5-star property Food was not at all good, breakfast left a lot to be desired. Stale croissants, veggies, and the sausages were so bland and tasteless. Overall, again, I cannot believe it is rated 5-star. At best 2/3 stars. Service is very poor, with the hostess suggesting that I can get an upgrade if I can spend more money (the room we had checked in had a plumbing issue with water logging and leaking into the main area of the toilet. Changed into another room thereafter. I could never compare this with any 4/5 star property, having been used to staying in good hotels regularly, on work.
