Captivating 2-Bed House in Nettleham

The reason you pay a premium with this property is its location, on the village green in Nettlaham, however its not all its cracked up to be.

The reason its called cosi cottage is because its small, very small, certainly not for a family. The beds are tiny and the windows at the front of the property are not double glazed , this is a problem as 6 ft from your kitchen window is a bus stop which means busses stopping right outside your kitchen window several times a day and as late as 11pm. Opposite the house is one of the 2 pubs, "The Plough" again at midnight, noise , noise , noise, people smoking outside the pub seem to be in the front garden, taxis pulling up at 11pm looking for people, its ridiculous. The double bed in the room we used was electric, it would raise and lower, massage and inflate to make life easier , that only works when its fitted the correct way around, all that went up and down were our feet. The kitchen is cosi, with no dishwasher fitted. I always ask myself after staying..... would we come again, yes to the village, no to using this house, its overpriced, cramped and noisy.

Fantastic house with fantastic facilities. Really appreciated tea and milk in the fridge. Perfect location too.

Superb property in the perfect location. Opposite two great pubs, the Co-op, and several take aways. Property has everything you need, very cosy, superb decor and Ioana is the perfect host. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay on New Years Eve. House was clean, great location and really lovely, helpful host. We were met by host on arrival who showed us around the house. Pub is directly opposite the house with a co-op and takeaways under a minutes walk away. Great value for money! My partner left his jacket and wallet at the house and the host called us and arranged for it to be sent to us quickly. We would definitely stay again.

Great flat to stay for 1-2 nights, has everything you'd need, easy to check-in. The location is very quiet, and there are couple of pubs nearby. There is private parking and it's just 15 minutes drive to central Lincoln

Just be mindful that the water heater is not very big, so plan taking shower accordingly if there are more than 2 people staying.

The property was so lovely, the owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Very clean and tidy, there was lots of nice touches, we had milk, tea, coffee and water, also they left us a pot of sweets, fruits and biscuits, it was a really great experience and would love to stay there again!! Fire place didn’t work but that was not a major problem and we could have called the owner but only staying the one night so no big deal.

The location in the centre of the village was excellent.

the windows were only single glazed so noise from outside was noticeable when inside the property
