Santa Josefita

The b&b has several “instagrammable” corners: very colorful and hippie. It is at a walkable distance from the center of Cholula. They were very kind to store my luggage after check out.

My room was at the ground floor and felt a bit humid at night. Early in the morning you can hear noises coming from the breakfast service.

For the time of year we stayed (November) Cholula is cold at night. The room and hotel get uncomfortably cold. It would be useful to have space heaters for the rooms.

THe B and B is very charming and very clean. Staff was helpful. They are pet friendly.

Our room was next to a common area with chairs and a table and the other guests pass through it on their way to their rooms so it was noisy. I think a sign which reads” Quiet please-guest rooms” and moving the common chairs and table out further in the hallway would be helpful. A few more plugs for electrical connections would be helpful and a curtain over the bathroom window to block the light at night from the common area would also be good.

Everything about this space was beautiful. The overall ambiance was calming and welcoming. Our king size bedroom was beautifully yet simply decorated and so meticulously clean. I appreciated the tiled floors and convenient bedside lighting. The staff were very helpful and friendly, patiently allowing me to use the little Spanish I know while helping with perfect English when I struggled. They offered helpful and knowledgeable recommendations as well. Santa Josefita has a fantastic location in the amazing town of Cholula, thirty minutes outside the bigger, busier city of Puebla.

Staff were absolutely delightful. Beds were super comfortable, generous sized rooms and bathrooms. Cooked breakfast on-demand was a lovely touch. We were also super impressed when we had a slight issue with the sink in our room and the staff immediately upgraded our room without batting an eyelid.

The noise - we were on the ground floor so heard everyone arriving and leaving, and everyone upstairs.

Beautifully decorated. Calm. Pretty courtyard areas to sit.

Loved this hotel! The design is spectacular. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly. We had a large king room with a comfortable bed. The toilet area was small, but the shower was huge (hot with great pressure). Loved that there are screens on the windows so you can leave them open without bugs. Our room had a fan and daily water. Breakfast was included, and they made eggs and quesadillas fresh and had toast, cereal, fruit, and yogurt available. The location was close to all the sites. Lots of common areas to relax in.
