Unique space in heart of Frome

We had such a lovely stay here over the weekend and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place for our trip to Frome. The location was absolutely spot on — around a 15-minute walk from the railway station, about the same to the chess congress venue I played in, and right in the heart of Frome’s beautiful historic centre, with easy access to shops, cafés and restaurants. It made getting around effortless and gave us plenty of chances to enjoy the town itself. The property itself was a real treat. The Japanese-inspired decor gave it a unique, calming atmosphere, which my wife especially loved as she’s a huge fan of Japanese culture. It felt thoughtfully designed and full of character. And as someone who appreciates a proper soak after a long day, I have to give special praise to the wonderfully big bath! James was an excellent host — friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout. We especially appreciated being able to leave our bags with him after checkout until our train back to Bristol, which made our final day so much easier. Also, a noon checkout is a rare and very welcome luxury these days. All in all, this was a fabulous stay and one we’ll remember very fondly. We’d absolutely love to come back in future — though next time I suspect we’ll need to book much further in advance if we want to get lucky enough to secure it again!

Great to be welcomed by the very helpful host. Very helpful with advice of places to eat etc. or if I required assistance with the workings of something. Bath was a delight and loved the Japanese influence. Good well equipped kitchen. Great location for exploring town. Lovely private Japanese garden.

To enter the apartment required an App but host explained it well.

Of the hundreds of places I've stayed over 50 years, this is the very best. Just off Catherine Street. Two minute walk to everything. Brilliantly d3signed. Washer and dryer. Everything provided for breakfast.

Amazing location and super spacious and well kitted out. The host is lovely!

Unfortunately you could hear everything the upstairs neighbours were doing, so resting in the morning was a little difficult.

This was the perfect location, right in the heart of Frome. The owner was extremely helpful with advice on where to park and tips on places to eat, drink and enjoy this beautiful town.

A superb place to stay in Frome. The apartment is unique, comfortable, well designed and we felt at home straight away. The host was friendly, accommodating and showed us how to use the door code. Use of the zen garden was a bonus too. The location is amazing right in the heart of Frome, quirky, quaint and contemporary area. Also they provided bread and jam and milk and tea bags and coffee for our arrival.
