"Lovely accommodation, wonderful food"

Nice full English breakfast served with a smile. Dinner was superb and portion size was large! Several nice beers and ales on offer and plenty of Ciders too. Nice friendly chatty staff made the stay a pleasure.

Not much really, car parking was dependent on roadside being available as 2 hour restriction. But of course ok after 6pm Plenty of free parking nearby

No heating in our bedroom on Saturday night. Coldest night of the year so far. Freezing all night. No hot water in the shower on Saturday morning. My husband complained and it was fixed. On Sunday morning my husband complained about the freezing room. He was told that we could move to another room and that they would refund our money for one night. I later spoke to a member of the bar staff and she repeated that we would get a refund. Emailed them when we got home and Sophie said that no one had said that the would refund us. So disappointed with this hotel. We froze all night and they have lied about the offer!! Plus side - the breakfast on Saturday morning was lovely. We have stayed here twice before but never again!

"Perfect for our two night stay to attend a wedding. I just wish it had been a bit warmer."

Location was ideal for our requirements. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast.

The room was cold and we had to turn the heater on ourselves. The bathroom was extremely cold with no form of heating. It was spotlessly clean but the smell of bleach was overwhelming.
