Riverside Retreat - City Centre York

The location is fabulous, really central and within walking distance of the train station and city centre. Apartment was lovely, well equipped and comfortable. Would recommend.

The main light in one of the bedrooms and a heater in the other one didn't work but we reported these and got a swift response and neither affected our stay. Passing traffic can be noisy and make the whole apartment vibrate but we got used to this and again it didn't affect our stay.

Perfect location, clean with everything you need for a break away from home.

The only thing I could say is that the property shakes, which is the foundations of the building.

Location was brilliant

The shaking the building does with the traffic, towels were small: no basic condiments like salt & pepper. No tea towels

The apartment was in a great location, just a short walk from all of Yorks bars shops and attractions. Had everything we needed for our two night break, the beds were so comfortable

The location is amazing, central to everything

This property is gorgeous! It’s in a fab location as you only need to walk over the bridge and you’re only a few mins walk away from Shambles. Gorgeous apartment, very clean with lovely furniture and decor. I don’t usually sleep well when I’m not in my own bed but these beds were so comfy, I slept like a baby! I was here with my sister and we both had our own bedroom both with its own TV. Would 100% recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, it’s a beautiful place in a great location. The only thing I can think of is that the fridge was too cold as we put some cans of pop in there and when we went to have a can the next day, part of the pop had turned to ice. Nothing major as it wouldn’t stop me from going back. When I’m next in York, I will probably try and book these apartments again.

Great central location, good layout for family.

Buses and HGVs on the road created vibrations through whole flat. Not good for light sleepers.
