Riverside Retreat - City Centre York

Location was great.

I work for the biggest mattress company in the UK and worked in the industry for over 20yrs, so you can say I know about beds. I did find the bed so uncomfy and didn't sleep well for the 4 nights.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped and good location.

Only one hand towel in the bathroom for 4 people. Just a bath towel each No tea towel in the kitchen to dry up as we didn't want to put the delicate glasses in the dishwasher Every time a bus passes down the road, the whole appartement shakes. You get used to it but the buses run late into the night and start again at 6am

Location was good close to pubs shops food places

We were right in the middle of town excellent location beautiful apartment lovely and clean. I made a full New Year dinner in the apartment which was brilliant I did bring my own slow cooker and my own steamer but we had a fantastic lunch at a fraction of the price of going out and stopped us making other staff work for us. We have stayed in these apartments before and will deffo be back many many times thank you to all the staff

Top floor apartment we are all over 60 but other than that fantastic

Beautiful and modern decor - beds v comfortable.. facilities were great , location excellent.. couldn’t fault it 👍 great value for money.

Totally my own fault totally but accessibility for my parents in their 70’s was a bit challenging .. apartment is on the 2nd floor with no lifts and no walk in shower. NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE PROPERTY IN ANY WAY as this place is absolutely beautiful, but something I hadn’t thought of prior to booking.

Clean, comfortable beds, well equipped good location, parking. Lovely decor. Secure.
