Incredibly warm welcome. Nothing too much trouble a great little pub and friendly people. Great food. Lovely room and comfy bed and hot shower. And a beautiful setting.

We went walking up old man coniston, decided to stay over at the red lion, the food was good, The room was comfortable and spotless, The shower is a power shower, the breakfast was clean and filling, nothing negative what so ever, You will not be disappointed if you stay here, Thanks Steve
