Very friendly and accommodating

Didn't look very inspiring from outside but was really pleasantly surprised. It was immaculately clean throughout with a well laid out bathroom and good hot shower. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and good price. Super friendly staff and locals. Great location.

My only complaint would be the bed which was comfortable but a single (which I knew when booking) so bit smaller than ideal and I wasn't able to push together with other twin bed as I'd hoped, so next time I'd definately try and get a double room!

Food was awful.

Rooms are not soundproofed, could hear conversations over the sound of the television from rooms adjoining and downstairs.

The Red Lion is a great place to stay if you like to be a bit rural but within touching distance of the more busier areas. The breakfast was brilliant, the room was lovely and clean with a great shower. We couldn’t fault The Red Lion at all.

Owners and locals made us very welcome with a good selection of drinks and food Food was delicious and breakfast was first class Very picturesque location with great views from the room and Steve and Lucia were great hosts and would definitely recommend
