Romany Cottage B&B

Beautiful refurbished cottage. Rooms were fantastic. Spacious and bathroom was large. We also had a bath but the other room did not but was still magnificent. Lynne was a great hostess. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.

Beste ontbijt ooit! En super gastvrije landlady. Prachtige cottage met alles erop en eraan. En het bed was geweldig!! Hygiëne ook geweldig. Alles zeer sfeer en smaakvol ingericht. Zo keurig onderhouden, leek wel nieuw in warme oude sfeer.

Niks viel tegen....integendeel. Het was beter dan verwacht. Ook geweldig uitzicht uit het raam.

The Romany's cottage hostess was very welcoming. We felt at home and very well looked after. The breakfast was amazing, we had cooked breakfast every day. The rooms were very nice, very comfortable beds with amazing views of the hills from bedroom windows. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Nothing not to like.

This is one of the best Bed & Breakfast experiences I have ever had. Holidays and breaks are for enjoyment and relaxation... the land lady (Lynne) made us feel like it was 'Home from Home'... so this personal friendly conscientious application of her care and attention to looking after you as the guest was brilliant. The location is perfect and for long or short stay in this area I can absolutely recommend 'Romany Cottage' as the best venue to stay at... " You'll Love It" 👍❤️

There is nothing to dislike about 'Romany Cottage'

Beautiful Cottage, Lynne the host was a lovely lady so warm welcoming and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Not forgetting lovely little Clara

We had the most wonderful stay at Romany Cottage. Lynne has designed the accommodation beautifully, giving a perfect combination of privacy for her guests (there are two very well appointed bedrooms with beautiful en-suite bathrooms) and guest living area, with the intimacy of being in someone's home (she has her own living quarters elsewhere in the property). The property is stunning and full of character, and the location could not be more wonderful - the village itself is gorgeous, and Romany Cottage is literally a few steps away from some of the best walking in North Yorkshire. Oh, and our full English breakfast, made almost entirely using local products, was amazing! Lynne is the perfect host, it really felt like visiting an old friend. HUGE recommend!
