Pleasant room, friendly and helpful hostess.

No mention before arrival that one needs to be dog friendly as she is part of the package, roaming all over the guest lounge area (not bedroom). If you were allergic to dogs this would be an issue.

Great location, Brilliant host and was greated with a hot drink and the best victoria sponge. A really exceptional home from home. Spotlessly clean, great comfortable lounge. Massive double bed and huge walk in shower. Next morning we had a delicious breakfast, so much to choose from. There was also a lovely friendly dog called Clara. I would definately recommend this place and would go back again!

Wonderful comfortable cottage. Stylishly decorated. Lynne is a super host - great attention to detail, thoughtful and welcoming. Breakfast was superb - very high quality ingredients, many locally sourced.

The property is immaculate and you also have the use of a cosy lounge and log burner

Lynne was so welcoming, and her home is just amazing. It's spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and the bed was so comfortable. It was nothing short of wonderful. Her dog Clara was so cute and friendly and enjoyed playing with our dog, Eddy.

There were no negative comments to make. We would have loved to stay longer

Like a home from home! Received the friendliness of welcomes by both Lynn and Clara the dog, along with a delicious brew and a freshly baked slice of cake. The room was spacious and immaculate, with a tassimo machine and a varied range of tea and coffee options. Bathroom was huge and had a bath (yay!). Beds unbelievably comfy. The breakfast was to die for - yogurt, cereals, toast and preserves along with a full english with eggs of your choice. The location was excellent with beautiful views. We will be back!

Lynne was the most fabulous host throughout. When we booked, she offered to book us in for a meal at the local Buck Inn. She kept in touch with me before we arrived, advising us on where to park, for instance. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lynne and gorgeous Clara (who was an absolute delight throughout our stay). Lynne was so gracious and had very kindly baked a gluten free Victoria sponge (I had asked about gluten free bread earlier, which she provided at breakfast). We sat outside admiring the gorgeous view (such a lovely day for April) and Lynne provided us and the two other guests with that delicious cake and tea (made with Yorkshire teabags of course). The bed was really comfortable (super king size), the bedroom and bathroom had great facilities (coffee/tea maker, USB points, SMART TV and walk in shower). Lynne also provided a delicious breakfast in her gorgeous kitchen/dining area and did not rush us at all- itwas very relaxing. Everything was a delight from start to finish. Thank you Lynne and Clara - we will be back.
