Roberosia - Holiday Home

Hosts were very welcoming. The house is really nice and looks like the pictures. It's nestled in the hills of Kandy where you can find this quiet place to rest from hustle and bustle of Kandy.

We had a wonderful stay here. House is beautiful and new, and the cleanest hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka. Most of all the staff was lovely with our toddler! They made this part of our trip unforgettable.

Great place! Spacious clean rooms with big windows. Very nice breakfast The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We had some issues with train tickets which the solved by going to the train station them self to deal with problem. The best stay!

this house is exceptional in terms of its location, its architecture and, above all, its owners. We felt right at home. The breakfast, homemade and very tasty, is served in a large room with bay windows overlooking a wide terrace and the countryside.

This is the best place we have stayed. The owners of the house were super friendly, they greeted us with freshly squeezed juice, accommodated us immediately. On the first day, when we wanted to eat in the evening, they made us sandwiches, although it was already late. The house itself is very unusual, beautiful, with an interesting design. It is very important that the house has hot water, not everywhere in Sri Lanka it is, but here it is always available. The owners of the house constantly helped us with taxis and with places where you can eat deliciously. And the breakfasts here are just wonderful, I highly recommend this place to stay, you will be satisfied!

European standard, working AC, clean.

Staff is awkward, disorganised, but friendly. Pricey. Lacks ventilation, room gets mushy after some time. No mosquito nets in the windows. Fungi on the surface of the windows from inside. So so breakfast. Teapot, but no tea. Overall good place to stay for sri lankan standards.

The husband and wife that run this property are amazing! So kind and helpful. Rooms are large, very clean and the property itself is gorgeous!

Roberosia is a beautiful building in a magical location. The building itself is stunning and the interior design curated in every little detail. The room was very spacious with a really comfortable bed (best sleep we’ve had in months), a big bathroom with a separate powerful shower and two balconies with a view of the surrounding forest where you can spot monkeys and many beautiful birds. The area is peaceful and drenched with the sounds of the forest, birdsong and raindrops. Roberosia is by far the cleanest place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka, it was impeccable. The breakfast was also the best we’ve had in our trip, homemade by Jayangani every morning. Last but definitely not least, the hosts Saliya and Jayangani were absolute gems. Many reviews said they go above and beyond, and they really do! We’ve done quite a fair bit of travelling around the world and these were without a doubt the best hosts we have ever had. They helped us so much, were so interesting to chat to, and were so kind! We loved our stay so much that we decided to extend it and delay our beach plans.
