Amazing hosts that go out of their way to make you feel at home, beautiful house with lots of light and big rooms, surrounded by nature and the best breakfast that I had in my three weeks in Sri Lanka! Cannot say enough positive things about my stay here.

This place is tucked away in a peaceful, cool and green spot with a multitude of birds to greet you in the morning. It is a delight to escape the bustling city center and arrive here to relax. The hosts are kind and very helpful. The home made Sri Lankan breakfasts are freshly prepared with fresh fruits and freshly prepared juices to accompany. The rice and curry lunch on arrival was delicious. This place felt like home away from home. Thank you for making this stay special.

No complaints

Nice, big and clean rooms in a modern building, which is located a little bit outside of Kandy. The city centre can be reached by Tuktuk or car within about 10 min. The hosts are extremely lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was also good, a typical sril Lankan breakfast, with coconut roti, sambol, fruits, smoothies etc. We loved that it was a very quiet place, but you’re still in Kandy quickly enough.

The hotel is in a great location in Kandy. it's just a few minutes by tuk tuk from the city center. The place is very quiet, you can hear birds chirping in the morning. Great architecture of the villa, very nice common area and dining room. Very hospitable, helpful and kind hosts. The breakfast is rich and tasty, the hostess took into account everyone's taste. The owners offered better transport prices. If we could we would rate 11 from 10

A clean, comfortable and friendly property!

Everything was excellent: warm-hearted hosts, the house itself, the room, the breakfast. The family is extremely helpful in all areas and cares a lot about their guests. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and a great time at Roberosia. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

It would be better if guests had a key for the front door.

Lovely space overall - , amazing people, simple and aesthetic design sensibilities, delicious food and great location! The architecture of the building itself, is a treat! Large, spacious rooms, with minimal furniture allow for maximum movement and feel very comfortable. Practically all the rooms have sprawling views of the lush greenery surrounding the Roberosia Home, which is situated on the Forest Road in Kandy. The place is very cared for and attention to minute details is visible in the little things kept for the guests. A deck of cards, mosquito repellent, beautiful coffee table books on the wildlife in Sri Lanka and the fresco paintings in Sigiriya, are all evidence of the thoughtfulness of the owners and managers of the property. There are separate areas within the same floor, permitting different guests their own space and privacy, in a shared living room. The dining area and lounging area are different. The icing on the cake is the massive outdoor deck, which you can consider to be a mini-wildlife immersion by itself - Malabar-pied hornbills, Bulbuls, Barbets, Mynahs and Woodpeckers could be seen flying past through the day, along with some monkeys hopping around and wild dogs playing with each other. The family that runs this place is really caring and warm and we made good friends with them. Upon asking, we were provided with a yoga mat, a separate drying rack for our rain soaked clothes, hot, homemade dinner when we were too tired to step out and much more!! I'd strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a homely experience to quality hospitality in Sri Lanka.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Kandy, this tranquil homestay is a must-visit destination. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by two exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The authentic, plentiful meals they prepared were a true delight. The accommodation itself was elegantly appointed and immaculately clean. Situated on top of a small hill on the edge of the woods, the house lies approximately 2.5 kilometers from the center of Kandy.
