Central (yet tranquil) modern apartment with free Parking. Located in York's historical building

The location was good. Generally the apartment was ok. The block was smart and the secure parking was a great advantage.

The mat in the ensuite was wet upon arrival seemingly with footprints. Also there appeared to be a leak from the bottom of the shower tray causing lots of mould. The mat in the bathroom was grubby. The single bed bedroom window wouldn't close fully. Not helpful as the street was quite noisy in the late evening.

Location was good. Owner was very easy to talk to on the phone when we had some sort of problem. Very clean and spacious property when we arrived

Shower was turning off in the middle of taking bath - was quickly resolved tho through calling the owner on phone. Towels smelled a bit different. Very poor toilet flush in one of the toilets.

Bed was comfortable

Bathroom very dated, water not hot on first day, no hot water at all on second day.

Brilliant location and super helpful host who let us park a little longer than our stay which was really kind.

No cafetiere in kitchen or any basic condiments.

It was really convenient for the city centre with everything within walking distance. The bedrooms were nice and clean and comfortable.

The bathrooms are what let it down a little. Especially the en-suite shower room. Clear evidence of water damage to the skirting board and the tiles on the floor were loose. Every night we were sleeping there was a scuffle outside our bedroom window. Not the fault of the owner nothing they can do about that. But don’t know if there are lots of students in the area coming back late at night.

great location. Comfortable bed. Clean and tidy.

Not much storage in the main bedroom if you were staying longer. It felt a little clinical, more hotel than home, but that was fine for a short stay.
