Ellerthwaite Place X3 Bed House with Hot Tub in Central Windermere - Ridgestone

Eventhough there were not much pans and the available ones unclean, they had kept enough spices for cooking.

The house had a very bad odour to it. It was a very tiny apartment with the most tiniest toilet I have ever seen. The stairs were steep and not suitable for senior ppl. There were no bedrooms on the ground floor. The hot tub was not cleaned and was not usable. There were no toiletries had to go get them from the nearest shop. Dust bins were a rare find...

House was nicely presented

Property was realy unclean .thick in dust dirty unhoovered carpets. Filthy mirrors .bits in hot tub so didn't use

Gorgeous property, even better than it looks in the photos. Really nicely done out and maintained. It was so warm! Which was so nice as we went at the end of November and the temperature was frosty so it was really lovely to walk into a nice warm house at the end of the day. The beds were really comfy. The hot tub was a great addition once we worked out how to get it to the correct temperature (the temp controls have faded so it was a bit tricky). TV with netflix was fab for those cosy nights in. It's in easy walking distance to both Windermere and Bowness-on-windemere and only a short 15 minute drive from Ambleside. The property felt clean & well looked after. The towels and bedding were superb. Having a couple of dishwasher tablets to use was a really nice touch.

The only negative for me was having to contact the host the morning we were due to arrive to ask for the lockbox code but they responded very quickly and otherwise everything was perfect.

Garden isn’t secure for dogs and no shelter over hot tub

This house is in a fabulous location, short walk to Windermere town and slightly longer but nice walk to Bowness. Great local facilities in reach means you can leave the car parked up.

Although the garden is secluded it is totally open at the back. Also the beautiful boutique furniture not practical for a ‘loungy’ night around the fire and tv. Only minor critiques though, we lived the house.
