"really nice short break in a lovely house"

The decor was nice & the place well equipped. The location was excellent and having a parking space really helped. the hot tub was a nice bonus!

The big mirrors everywhere were a bit much!

We had a wonderful stay at Ellerthwaite Place, immaculately clean, comfortable beds and had everything we needed, hot tub is a great bonus. The location of the property was perfect, close to all amenities, great cafes and restaurants ('Homeground coffee and kitchen' and 'Brown sugar' are highly recommended) and everywhere was very dog friendly. Windermere was a pleasant 20 minute walk away, very busy during the day, but in the evening it was lovely and quiet and Baha Bar had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Not having an enclosed garden for our dog was the only down fall.
