Rooms at The Vista

If you expect a motel 6 hostel thing and you get 10 times better. We may be PCT/ AZT Hikertrash. But we value these kinds of things. And we left it cleaner than we found it.

I hoped for a bit more interaction with the other people in the Vista. But that is just me. I just love to talk with other people from different places and share stories

It was all it was said it was… however those staying with us were suspicious and unsociable One there said he was mail carrier in Florida but staying in house??? The other guest did not talk to us when we engaged in conversation It would have nice if the owner actually talked to us versus texting We would not return

The location is unbelievably beautiful, the apartment is very clean and suitable for up to 5 people (2 single beds, 1 double bed, and a sofa bed), the hosts are incredibly friendly

Nothing. Just having to figure out what to do with trash bags from the room and finding new trash bags

This is a repeat stay for me at Rooms at the Vista. My stays at The Vista have all been great, and I look forward to staying at The Vista the next time I am in Phoenix!

Clean it had everything you needed this will be my spot every time

The experience was exceptional. I nicknamed the place “The immaculate Reception.”

I felt safe there. It’s in a strange part of town. Drive one way and you’re surrounded by expensive resorts with golf courses. Stop by Walmart or Frys and most people are Hispanic and Black. The neighborhood is near tree and plant nurseries which is nice IMHO. I enjoyed hiking at South Mountain two days, eating at The Farm, and I drove over to see historic Our Lady of Guadalupe Church which is beautiful. I was there for a personal spiritual retreat of my own planning. It was a quiet location where I could read, pray, and journal in my bedroom. I felt safe with the key code entry to house and bedroom. Maybe a secondary latch in the bedroom like hotel rooms have to flip when I’m in my room especially when sleeping. Just to feel safer.

I guess I didn’t pay attention when I booked it that there would be stairs but it turned out ok. Maybe it was even better. I think I may have been the only woman but the men I saw seemed nice. I didn’t like having to take off my shoes. One guy must’ve shaved and left curly hairs in the sink and counter but I cleaned them up.
