The property is absolutely lovely - it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I got a little lost finding it, but a quick phone call to mark and he directed me and met me at the door.

It felt like home! It was clean, had all the essentials, it felt safe and away from traffic and city noise. The large window to the private garden gave a peaceful view when relaxing on the sofa in the living room. It had a private parking space right next to the property. Plenty of towels provided for the whole family staying. Lovely fresh bread, eggs and jams/marmite left in the kitchen for us was a lovely welcome. Owners were very fast to reply to all enquiries before, during and after stay and they were most helpful. Bedrooms and bathroom/toilet are upstairs. Main bedroom was nice and roomy with a vanity table and mirror. There was also an additional small/single bed in the room which could be used for a young child perhaps. The second bedroom was smaller but has a nice double sofa bed and gave our teenage (13) son his own comfortable space. There was also facility to charge your EV car. The photos I took don’t do the property justice because they were taken in a rush so best refer to the owners photos for clearer photos. Having the large fan in the living room definitely came in handy on an especially hot summers day during our stay. Would be lovely to have an extra one during summer for upstairs bedrooms in case needed. Having the roomy fridge-freezer, dishwasher and kitchen equipment (including an air fryer) allowed us to have home-cooked meals during our stay which was much appreciated. The a property was a short drive away to Aldi, Starbucks etc which again was very handy. Also a short drive away from Canterbury. Thanks Julia and Mark for being such amazing hosts.

The downstairs is spacious and light, goodsize tv, good parking., all very comfortable and a decking area outside looking out at a small garden. Upstairs felt more like being in a converted stable, with the ceilings lowering at some points, the main bedroom had a large glass window/door with Juliette balcony. Very quiet , down a country lane. We met Mark, who was very helpful, not far from the town, which had many very old buildings. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful, and the stables very clean.

There was nothing to dislike

Location was excellent for our visits to Whitstable and Canterbury.
