Myrtle Stables - converted, self-contained, countryside

Super nice, cozy, quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated house equipped with all amenities and set in a beautiful garden! Close to beach and train station. Julia and Mark make you feel welcome and at home; they are incredibly kind and helpful. Absolutely highly recommended!

A real table instead of a bar at the kitchen worktop would have made it perfect (especially if you like board games like us :-))

A fantastic stay because: - this place was IMMACULATELY clean -hosts were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and friendly, and the little touches of bread, eggs, jam and milk is a great touch -a charging point for our electric car on site was a GAME CHANGER for us. Great to be able to charge your vehicle over night -very CONVENIENT location, and a great base for exploring Whitstable, Deal, Canterbury and Dover - it’s a really COMFORTABLE home

The sound of the motorway (only while outside in the garden) which cannot be helped. Thankfully the surroundings and location do make you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside, and the sound is soon goes unnoticed.

Freshly baked bread with little jams etc was lovely. Dishwasher always a bonus. Bathroom was lovely with complimentary wash, shampoo and conditioner. Very friendly area.

Beds were slightly uncomfortable, guess one just always prefers your own bed.

Mark & Julia made us feel so welcome in their beautiful accommodation. There were so many lovely touches and everything was well laid out. So many finishing touches. The location was great, with plenty to do nearby - Mount Ephraim, Chilham Castle, and local pubs to name a few choices

Beautifully renovated property with everything you could need from a holiday home. Perfect for a chilled out stay between Christmas and new year. Lovely touch having a Christmas tree too. Mark and Julia are very welcoming hosts and thoughtfully provided milk, bread, eggs etc. Full size and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Comfy lounge room and good TV package available. Lovely comfy bed and super clean and modern bathroom. The whole place was warm and cozy. Great place to stay and would recommend highly. Would love to stay in summertime and make use of the outdoor decking area. Really close to Whitstable and Canterbury.

There is nothing to dislike! A really lovely home to be honest. The owners are fantastic.

I wish the 2nd room had a propper bed. But for me, the sofa bed downstairs was fantastic anyway
