Easy location for the arena and Birmingham city.

There were no tea towels for drying the pots that had been washed and no dish cloth. Small things but essential! Vents on the windows let the traffic noise through.

The location and security were brilliant, it's gated with security on site, plus free parking! The property looked really good and was practical for what we needed it for.

If your planning on staying in Jan/Feb, you MUST consider this property, there was no heating system available. For ref, I stayed there between 21/01/25 and 22/01/25. The electric radiators tripped every 10-15 minutes, you'd have to constantly go to the main switchboard to turn them on and switch all the radiators back on, on every floor, for it to trip again after 15 minutes. Which was very inconvenient and impractical for January. I made the host aware of the arrival date and the host mentioned I had to switch it on from the main fuse board as it tends to trip after a long period of use. The trip was constant throughout the evening and night. After our stay, I messaged advising this but the host was not helpful at all and brushed it off by saying it was because we had a portable heater plugged in, despite switching it off in the living room (provided by the host). Woke up to approx. 9 degrees, the whole house was cold! The bathroom temperature tap is broken so we had extremely hot water coming out which wasn't ideal either. A few other cosmetic flaws such as bathroom door handle being broken and wall being smashed into from the door handle in the living room.

It was clean and functional.

There were very few mirrors! The only bathroom didn’t have one, neither did our main bedroom. It may seem a small thing but it’s hard to get ready for a night out with a lack of mirrors! The flooring was also so slippy, you had to be very careful. It was on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter with a very busy road outside. It took about 20 mins to walk to Gas Street but Ubers were also easy to book. We enjoyed our stay and the apartment served its purpose but I felt it could have been a little more homely if the bedside lights had sockets so you could use them, there were mirrors (!), and some low level lighting to make it cosy in the sitting room instead of just bright overhead lights. Also just having one bathroom and loo would have been a problem if we had used the single 3rd bedroom as it would have been 2 flights up the stairs.
