Spacious 4 bed family cottage in parkland setting

Absolutely amazing house with everything you could possibly need. It truly was a home from home. The house was warm and cosy. Hot tub was superb with attention to detail in the surrounding area. Huge garden space. We all loved it. Thank you to the owners who have excelled in their efforts to ensure a memorable stay.

Going home😒

The property had everything we needed for a long weekend with family. It was really clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub and outdoor area were amazing, it’s just a shame the weather wasn’t!

Amazing property, everything we needed and more, clean and comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment. The owners thought of everything, outside area was great, hot tub and outside kitchen,nice fleecy blankets so you could still sit out

Everything was perfect. We would love to re visit in the summer so we could enjoy more of the outside facilities. The pictures on the site didnt do it justice its even nicer

Beautiful property, the kitchen was amazing and all rooms very clean, beds comfy and the outside decking area with a hot tub was a real bonus.

nothing to dislike

Location was great, we didn't travel far but it was a nice base to see other areas. The house was beautiful, had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were beautiful and we would have used this much more if we had visited during the summer.

Everything

Very spacious and high spec. kitchen, all the latest gadgets. Very light and airy. The outside area is amazing, put more photos on the website to show it off! Lots of utensils. Loads of warm blankets to sit outside all cozy. Lovely log burner and plenty of logs to use. Beds and bedding so comfortable.

The only letdown that we all said was the built in wardrobe doors weren’t particularly in keeping with the rest of the house. Maybe a tv in the bedrooms and a chest of drawers/dressing table in the 3 rooms without any. Just somewhere to place make up etc. but not complaining by any means.

the outdoor space was fab

the mice and the fact we brought one home in the suitcase that caused mayhem in one of the ladies bedrooms and took us 2 hours to get it out and this morning I’ve found out from another lady it’s been in her handbag and chewed one of her boxes … the dishwasher leaked all over and hot tub wasn’t to temp all Friday … I have been very pleasant about all this and accept mice can happen in rural locations as I live in one … but the fact I’ve had no response to my issue speaks volumes for me I corresponded with the housekeeper who has passed my message on to home owner as I did not want to give any negative feedback on booking.com I am hoping this goes direct to the owner and not on any social media as I am trying to be discreet about this issue incase the public could see my comments, so I would appreciate a response to my concerns, it was all a little million to one scenario yesterday I mean what’s the chances of bringing a mouse home in your suitcase, we do have photo evidence … we’d love to stay in the summer to enjoy the out door space
