CBD Luxury Parkside Living 2 Bedroom With Parking

Our host was very communicative from the off and we were even able to extend our stay at short notice. The location in Merivale was very central and close to restaurants, bars and shops where I was able to have both my hair and nails done before a family wedding. The property itself was clean and well-equipped - ideal for our needs. The property is light, airy with a laundry and outdoor space too. The bedrooms are well-proportioned and comfortable too.

If I have to be picky, the tabletop ironing board was difficult to use and the only mirror is in the bathroom.

The fold out couch was the most uncomfortable couch ever, the owners should try sleeping on it themselves

Communication prior to entry was not as much as others, entry instructions only came through on the day. When we went to use the shower the head holder was broken, no information about this and made it difficult to use.

The house is excellent no matter in location, size, facilities, spacial comfort, kitchen utensil, bath room and bedroom, etc.. I like particularly the kitchen and the dining area. Natural sunlight is so very good for house lighting in most of the time. One important thing, we are nature lover and it locates next to the Christchurch Botanic Garden! We got a lot of wonderful birds there.

Not a very important point, but the designated parking area is a little bit too difficult for beginner and finally I just park outside the house.

Fantastic apartment let down by one major thing - it was impossible to cool the bedrooms to sleep at night. The Aircon worked well on the ground floor but did nothing for the bedrooms upstairs. We were roasting at night and found it hard to sleep. We tried opening windows, pulling blinds all day and leaving windows open all day. But nothing worked. The high temps and strong winds meant the bedrooms reached temperatures that made sleeping very difficult. The apartment needs an Aircon unit upstairs to resolve this.

Great Location,everything you need close by.Great water pressure in shower.

Sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on & watch tv.Also not sure if it's big enough to sleep 6 adults,but certainly comfortable for 4.
