One&Lux Lumbreras, bright duplex with private terrace

It was a nice part of town and reasonably quite.

The condition of the apartment, there were so many repairs needing fixed. The kitchen, the toaster was broken we were suggested just to hold the lever down till the toast was cooked the laminate on the work tops had been compromised through to the base layers unhygienic, the plumbing under sink constantly leaked. The living area was fine except the sofa looked ok but had clearly structurally had a hard life and needs replaced incredibly uncomfortable to sit on, we knew there was a stair access up to the living area and terrace but they were incredible steep would not pass building regulations in UK plus would be terrified if I had small children or had to carry a baby up and down them. Moving onto the terrace the patio doors did not have a lock as it had been shattered of the frame completely, when mentioned we were told it was ok they knew the neighbours either side of our terrace (I did not, nether did my holiday insurance company), the parasol was wrecked and the cushions had not been stored when raining or not in use so when the sun popped out the chairs and lounger could not be used shame as the terrace was a good size (as for the poetic license of city views you looked down a street with underground parking and police facilities at the top of the street). The dining area was ok the furniture again tired the legs would not tighten up so the chairs were wobbly. Moving downstairs to the bathroom the toilet constantly leaked from the base so when using it your lower garments were soaked, we reported this and we were told they had a plumber in before our arrival who had supposedly fixed it but stated if it leaked again they would have to replace it with a better quality one. Moving into the bedroom this was fine the bed was great very comfy and the aircon was fab, plus a bonus of a large wall mounted TV and good cupboard space. The front door lock was a nightmare to open and to lock worked some times when you are trying to be quite coming back late, no chance.
