V &A waterfront Canals Aircon Wrap around balcony

The place was spacious but very impersonal.Clean.

There was not enough crockery, soap, very basic kitchen equipment, all mismatched! The beds were terribly old and uncomfortable.

Was difficult to find the location

The location was perfect. It was clean and spacious.

i) Being received by our host who gave us the keys and explained the unit to us; (ii) perfect location to the Waterfront (which we easily walked to often / most days) and the Cape Town tourist sites in general; (iii) nice view of the canal (in fact right on top of the canal which was great); (iv) very safe and secure; (v) good condition and clean unit; and (v) full amenities in the unit

Would have liked (i) a working safe to lock up devices / computer; and (ii) the second fluorescent tube / globe in the kitchen to have worked, both of which we reported. Couple of other globes were however repaired when reported

The check in process could be better,no proper directions and apartment number was availed in advance and the guard has little knowledge around how to check in a guest

We attempted to stay here but it was extremely badly organised. - When we arrived, the security were not aware that we were staying there - The key was not in the lock box - The lady was still busy cleaning the apartment when we walked into the apartment - There was no electricity and none of the tokens we were given worked - We had to find alternative accommodation at 1am in the morning as we couldn’t stay there - We kindly asked for a refund and we were completely ignored and we still have not received any refund or response from this accommodation

The apartment was very dirty. Some lights did not work. Most of the blinds were broken, could not open and close. There was a mess up with room, took us to the wrong Apartment.
