Central Studio Near Usher Hall & Edinburgh Castle

The location of this property was excellent. We were visiting Usher Hall which was at the end of the street, we walked from the train station, we could see Edingburgh Castle. The property was compact and ideal for a short stay.

Sounds petty but the bathroom cabinet was irritating. The position restricted the use of washing or brushing teeth as it overhang the tiny sink so you couldn’t get your head over the basin. If you placed anything on the shelf in the cabinet it collapsed. To rectify this problem the cabinet could be replaced by a mirror with a shelf above.

the property is very small.Pictures are decieving making it look larger than it actually is toilet seat broken toaster not working sofa sticky needs a deep clean. corridor very dark no lighting until later obviously on a timer however staircase could be potentially dangerous for the wrong person. bathroom mould in the shower,shelf in cabinet broken,sink is not practical kept banging head on cabinet. Hanging of clothes is only good for tall people.totally inpractical,could do with re design,all shelves are warped. All the boiler pipes are exposed.which is not in the photos. All in all disapointed the flat looked tired and in need of a revamp. Would not book this appartment again!

The house was clean.

Lack of response from staff and the mattress was so bad.

Location was great loved the accommodation like home from home wouldn't hesitate to recommend 👌

Only the location

The entrance looks rough almost scaring. The place looks nothing like the picture which makes you believe it’s a spotless , but in fact it’s pretty wearoff and old wasn’t very clean as well, cutlery plates, and glasses. The bed was very uncomfortable the shower and bathroom is really tiny We were set on the basement which we didn’t know, meaning no view from the castle. The stairs we need to talk about it each step is very tiny and very dangerous which should have more warning ,I slipped on the stairs and my boyfriend fell off the stairs, for now I can say if it’s not safe. Washing machine wasn’t working properly we need to dried our towels and some clothes and wouldn’t work Did not have the Castle view because we’re in the basement so it’s selling something that doesn’t exist in all the flats .
