Central Studio Near Usher Hall & Edinburgh Castle

The location is amazing! Just beside the Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile. You also have Sainbury's (supermarket) a minute walk. The studio is completely equipped with everything (kitchen supplies: pans, plates, glassware...), towels, showel gel... and everything was super clean. In addition, David was super nice with us throughout messages just in case we needed help. The bed is amazing, super comfy and clean. Keys collection was very easy and he gave us all the explanations and sent us photos of everything (which we really appreciated). I'll come back with no doubts!

Ideal location 10 minute walk & you are in the centre of Glasgow, has everything you need for a short stay , would definitely book again next time we visit Glasgow

The facilities were adequate, and I appreciated the bed and the lighting for reading. The kitchen was well equipped and accommodating. And the location is perfect. The window on the garden was also a plus.

The bathroom is very small, though the shower and toilet worked perfectly well. I've never seen a wash basin so small and awkwardly situated, but I made it work.

The host was very approachable and professional. Answered all our questions and made easy for us to checkin and check out. The room is cozy and away from all the noise outside. Strong wifi connection and good water supply. All in all, we had a great experience staying for 2 nights.

Excellent location. Well appointed and nicely modernised and decorated - it was clear a lot of thought had gone into the use of space. Host was very helpful and swift to respond to messages.

Missed the £70 cleaning fee added to the cost, which made the total price a little high - maybe this should just be included and the actual cost updated accordingly, for clarity? Also really needs a light outside as the stairs are a bit treacherous in the dark.

Very little. The only saving grace was the location of this property.

The apartment is in the basement down a dark set of narrow winding stairs with a handrail that’s loose. After struggling to unlock the door for several minutes a neighbour in the building came out and told us the ‘trick’ to get the key to work. The amenities was a hodge podge of home DIY additions. After killing 4 spiders we had luke warm showers. Then found some hairs on the creased up sheets. So we decided to use the washer/dryer to wash them before using them. The washer worked the dryer didn’t. So we were up till 1am (after 35 hours of travelling) trying to dry sheets. We slept in our clothes on top of the bed. After advising the host, he sent cleaners into the flat the next day while we were out, without our approval, to remedy the sheets situation. We were furious and alarmed that someone had been into the place without our approval. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had with any place we’ve ever stayed. At AUD400+ per night, you would expect better than this mess.
