"Convenient, but lacking quality"

Great location - close to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Reasonably spacious. Washer/Dryer in the room.

Basement location. Steep and narrow access stairs. Entry corridor damp, musty. Entry and stair area lighting was unserviceable and constantly dark. In our opinion, the entry area posed a significant health and safety risk. Uncomfortable space-saver-type bed that had noisy springs. Tiny virtually unusable basin.

"Pleasant"

Location was great. The apartment was clean and close to everything.

It is a lot smaller in person. Doable for a couple of nights but is tight.

"It was very comfortable and in a great location (not too far from the main attractions)!"

The property was nice and cosy as we as being extremely comfortable. The property is also in a great location from the high street and high streets.

Couldn’t really fault the place but there was a slight issue with a leak in the toilet (hosts have been informed)

"May pause using booking.com for a while, loved Edinburgh."

Great location. Ideal for one night.

Delayed getting details to get in once we arrived The self check in details were not sent for almost 1 hour after we were dropped off by a taxi. Apparently I missed or never received an email indicating photo ID was needed to get details. When I booked , it said it was confirmed so I never really checked again until the day we arrived. I had no trouble with a different booking.com for a night in Belfast( no ID required) I even alerted them to an earlier check in time the day before, it said fine and still no information on needing ID. The main number gave me a very nice lady who helped the best she could.

The location was very good and communication was brilliant with the host the only thing was the pictures on booking.com make it look like a full apartment whereas it was just one small room

The constant noise of the water boiler and dripping noise coming from bathroom

"Perfect"

Very organized, well equipped and clean. It really shows that the owner thinks fondly of the people who go there. There was even soap for us to wash our clothes, a plug adapter, and super good hygiene products. And still well located. I would definitely go back and recommend. In addition to giving us tips for enjoying the city.
