York Cottage a period character 2 bedroom cottage

York Cottage was comfortable & clean. We particularly enjoyed the open fire as the weather had turned cold.

Conservatory door needs attention.

Wonderful location for birdwatching on Snettisham beach. RSPB Titchwell reserve is also nearby. Snettisham village is also very pleasant with good facilities and friendly locals. York cottage is wonderfully cosy and homely with all the facilities I needed, such as a hairdryer and cooking equipment.

The position of house was good, kitchen was very well equipped, owner flexible with check in & out times. Bed was comfy.. We enjoyed our stay but several improvements needed to bring this up to next star rating

Kitchen radiator didn't work so room was very cold / fridge took 30 mins to start up & no light in it / dining table very old and no way to sit 4 people round it without having leg in the way, fold up chairs not great / bath towels need to be replaced for bigger softer ones / plug in fire in lounge had no light working on it

Everything was perfect for us. A cosy cottage with all you need. Very clean and comfortable.

Great location for visits in North Norfolk. Well equipped though decoration could benefit from a refresh.

Minor problem as no batteries in central heating controller. Fortunately able to use batteries from torch in car as heating required for Autumn evenings.

Great location for pubs and coop. Very quiet and homely, comfortable beds and sofas. Lovely walks in the village...and a short drive to wonderful.beaches. Lovely quiet garden, well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed our stay...love Snettisham.

A bath would have been nice...but shower was fine.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Quiet location Garden is fenced and secure, with seating, which is a bit of a sun trap too. Kitchen has most of what you need for a ahort stay. Great communication with host Mark. We requested a later check out time, which Mark agreed to. Also, I left my engagement ring behind and contacted Mark as soon as I realised. Eve, Mark's cleaner, found my ring and Mark has offered to drop it in to my home address on his way from Norfolk back home, which is really wonderful of him. Overall a lovely cottage, a bit quirky which I like, comfortable and peaceful.

Oven wasn't easy to figure out as some of the symbols were worn away; got around this by downloading a user manual from the internet. It was quite warm during our stay but the windows in the back bedroom and living room weren't able to be opened, so it got a bit stuffy at times.
