"Comfortable, good value cottage"

Skylight above the bed was great, when the stars came out we could look at them from our bed - well I had to put my specs on but it was still amazing. Enough equipment for a comfortable stay and if you needed to work there was a desk so you didn't have to use the dining table. Love the quirky coat rail. Cooker was really good.

It would have been good to have more mugs - we seemed to be constantly washing up. There wasn't a recycling bin so I had to leave stuff for recycling on the draining board. It took a long time for the hot water to come through - but that is a very minor inconvenience. Because of the rain the track to the cottage was a stream so we were glad to have a car which is quite high up - not a track for a Porsche to use!

Spacious, everything in good decorating order, neat and tidy, comfortable, great facilities, loved the bedroom on a mezzanine. Only a short drive from Exeter. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The only thing to be aware is access is a short way down a very narrow country road.

Really clever and lovely fit-out here, great use of space.Bedroom upstairs does mean coming down if you need to during the night. Great bed and linen. Everything you could need for cooking and relaxing. Large lounge, armchair, dining. Lamps too which are wonderful. Good shower. Excellent wifi, parking on property which is on a rural laneway. Lovely owners welcomed us and explained local places to visit. Some tea/coffee/snacks provided too. We had 2 nights here and would definitely stay again.

Spotlessly clean , Very well thought out and finished to a very high standard . Everything you'd need for a short stay in a delightful setting . 15 mins from Exeter Uni which was the purpose of our visit . Ample parking and peace and quiet . Lovely galleried bedroom with all mod cons through out . The property is 'off the beaten track ' but that was fine with us Its the little things that set a really good place apart from the rest and the owners have done just that ! Thanks
