Sunderland City Centre Cosy 2 Bed Apartment

Place was dirty

Good location for Stadium of Light. About a 20 minute walk. The bed & pillows were comfortable & sheets etc were fresh. Tea, coffee and sugar was an added bonus.

The apartment was not the one shown on the listing, table only for 2 not 4 people, the 2nd bedroom had one double not 2 single beds. All of the furniture is well used and not the quality that the images of the apartment shown in the listing. One of the wardrobes had a broken door & there were items in the wardrobes you would need to move if staying long enough to unpack. There were no curtains, only blinds, at the bedroom windows so quite a lot of light came in as these weren't blackout blinds. The make up mirror had a battery missing. Whilst surface clean, it needs a deep clean to feel less tatty. No plug in the kitchen sink, no washing up bowl. The listing said towels were provided but these weren't left out. Although the host was quick to answer when asked so this didn't cause an issue. We were only staying 1 night so it was adequate.

Location is ideal for the city centre

The booking was advertised as 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. I was disapppointed to find it was 2 bedrooms and 2 beds. After much convincing i managed to get my 2 young boys to share a bed. Suffice to say nobody slept very well owing to this.

The cleanliness was lacking pubic hair in the bath, dirty floors, dirty bedding Shower was useless it was either scorched or lukewarm Worst of all was been woken at 2:30am with someone trying to gain access to the property but kicking the door in, on returning the keys to the key safe they had opened it with the exact number issued on our arrival
