San Vito Apartments - Puglia Mia Apartments

Was so happy with the location, I wanted somewhere I could reach the beach within a short walk and this was it, a very short stroll to porta vecchia and even better was it was close to the other attractions and restaurants in and near the old town. The apartment was nice and minimal, clean, spacious and smelled nice. My apartment had a private terrace and kitchen overlooking the sea, accessed by a steep set of stairs within the apartment.

Minimal daylight reaches the apartment itself so it was nice to have the terrace otherwise it did feel a bit dark and enclosed at times. The shower pressure wasn't great but manageable. I requested to check out 45 minutes later to better align with my transfer service which was declined and also worth noting there isn't an option to store luggage at the accommodation

We liked how the representative of the host came to meet us and showed us the keys. The property itself is as advertised. We knew there would be stairs going on the second floor but after 7 days of staying there we got tired. The view from the upstairs is on an angle, it’s not right in front of you which was somewhat disappointing but still a nice view. The first floor has the double bed and bunk beds. We found them comfy. We were only two in the apartment so we had enough space, but if we were 4 it would have felt a bit crowded. The pros: - Amazing/perfect location - AC (only on the first floor where there are the beds, there is not a unit on the second floor) worked amazingly - Clean - Nice host (we met a representative - Giulia gave us all the information and gave us great restaurant recommendations) - Private parking (much needed if you have a car, parking on the street around the apartment is limited) - Cute balcony - They gave us two free big bottles of water upon entry - Fridge works - Washing machine works

Cons: - Private parking is not as close as expected (10-15 min walk from apartment) - Stairs (Although we knew about them, we found it tiring to keep going up) - The amenities were slim (small amounts of shampoo and we felt lucky to have laundry detergent). Also, in southern Italy we need to sort our trash (organic, glass, plastic etc). They didn’t provide extra plastic bags to sort the trash. Although of these cons, we would definitely come back to stay here because of its amazing location.

The apartment had 1 wine glass. No kettle, no stove top kettle. Limited cutlery. They were very quick for us to sign a breakage deposit, but when we arrived to kitchen in particular was not equipped effectively.
