Cozy Family Stay with Free Parking and WiFi

The house was lovely and welcoming, the host was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had promptly and the street was quiet

The local shop was expensive. This is no reflection on the host haha

There was nothing to like about this property.

Please do not look at the pictures used in this advert it is false advertising. Myself and my son turned up and thought we had the wrong place front door has a locked metal gate over it, windows are also gated, which instantly made me feel unsafe and was not shown on the photos (curtains all drawn), then there is no gate to go into to get the key as advised on the greeting message. we went in and was disgusted by the place, the photos are completely false advertising, toilet hanging off the wall, no “cozy” room at all the house is run down, didn’t feel safe to stay in, toilet was hanging off the wall, dirty water was still in the mop and bucket, fridge rusted, black bin outside all broken and full, walls dirty it was completely the opposite to what you see on the photos. I was not willing to stay there so contacted a premier inn who luckily had space. I contacted the owners who are clearly out to just take people money, I listed all the issues and said I would not be staying there with my child, as it’s false adverting and they should be more truthful with what you are getting as I was 4 1/2 hours away from home. I got informed that apparently the noise is the same as most uk homes (I have a home and it’s not) and that apparently they have replaced furniture as some was old (not sure what that covers) clearly not the toilet or fridge or anything to make it feel welcoming. So along with the issues with the property the owners are also not helpful or even interested i l learnt the hard way. I have flagged all this with booking.com

Property was unfortunately quite dirty - dust and hair along the floors, strong smell of smoke, dirty sofa and sticky counter tops WiFi and tv wasn’t working - contacted the number the host gave us but had no responses to our queries

Beautiful house with maximum facilities. Good location.
