Luxury Lake District Holiday Lodge-Sleeps 4

Beautiful views right from the sofa! A lovely lodge with all you need plus more. A perfect chilled few days, thank you!

Absolutely nothing

Absolutely fantastic property photos don’t do it any justice so much nicer in person and a great welcome by the hosts loved the little welcome hamper and all the little bits you may have forgotten on your trip is provided. Will definitely be back again thank you so much

Nothing it was perfect

Everything, location, cabin felt like home, the welcome by the host,the little bits and bobs,like the bathroom tub had small items that you may have forgotten or not thought off to bring, the fresh milk and water to get you settled with a nice warm cuppa tea, the games and dvds, were a special treat. We came to relax and get off the grid with 3 young teens, 15,28 and 20 thought it was going to be difficult, the cabin was just perfect, and that just made the difference with being off grid. Beds and pillows were comfy we have always had issues with pillows at other places. Thank you to Phil and Karen for a perfect short getaway. We will be back in the summer for sure.

We went for three days to just relax away from home, and it was honestly the best three days we’ve spent together. The caravan itself was stocked with everything we could possibly need and Phil and Karen even left some milk and water as well as other essentials such as tea and coffee that we could use freely. We had towels provided (although we brought our own out of preference) as well as all the utensils and cleaning supplies we could need. The heating was a little bit difficult to work at first but once we got the hang of it, it was fine. There’s smart TVs in all of the rooms which allowed us to relax in the living room as well as in the bedroom. The bathroom was stocked with toilet paper and even had a little “bits and bobs” box for essentials that the guests could use in case they forgot their own. Upon arrival Karen gave us a full tour and explained everything we would need to know. She also explained that there was 2 caravans that were blocking our view and was very apologetic about it. She offered to move us into another caravan onsite that they own but this didn’t bother us too much as we still had a partial view so just decided to stay in this lovely caravan and I am glad we did! We had a welcome pack provided for us with the wifi password, some cakes, tea, coffee and biscuits as well as instructions for everything we may use in the caravan. It was thorough with everything we might need and I cannot thank Phil and Karen enough for allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. We hope to be back one day!

Everything, the holiday home was beautiful, the location was perfect for visiting places around the Lake District and the kical town of Cockermouth is a lovely town with shops and eating places - The Bitter End recommended
