"Wonderful"

Wow, this hotel definitely lived up to all expectations and more. We stayed here for my husband's special Birthda., We booked the Rolls Royce pick up and Gavin picked us promptly and we felt very spoiled on our journey to The Great House. Yann greeted us very warmly on our arrival and showed us to our amazing room; number 3. The decoration and attention detail are superb. Nothing is too much trouble at this Hotel, we met Jamie later on in evening, who I liaised with previously to help me plan our trip. All the staff are extremely professional, friendly and kind. Thank you to you all for making our trip perfect.

"Fairy Tale stay, so peaceful. Only went for a night, but it felt like a long holiday"

The location was good. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean.

I stayed in room 5 in the attic, there was a water tank in the roof above that had the consistent sound of running water day and night and kept me awake, so very little sleep. The room was tiny too, I managed on my own, but wouldn't have wanted to share it with anyone as you could only access the bed from one side. The staff were aware of the issue with the water tank noise, but no compensation was offered. Also the coffee machine did not work in the room.

"Enjoyable"

Location was great. Lovely old building.

Room was top floor so lots of stairs. Breakfast was not great, no cereals or toast offered. There was a choice of food but would have been nice to have had fruit juices, yogurts like most hotels offer considering the price paid.
