Everything i could not folt the please rely inviting i would definitely stay agen it was amazing.

Could be a little cold even with the heating on but to be fair we are in mid December and out in the cunchry but i rely did enjoy are stay

The property was clean and well presented. Good size rooms and comfortable bed.

‘Free private parking’ - should indicate how far from the property entrance the available street parking actually is… hauling belongings down the side drive and all the way round the rear garden is quite a challenge. The property is offset from a very busy road and the road noise from traffic passing all day and all night could sadly not be ignored. ‘Garden view’ - nothing like that shown in the photos - the view from the annex was into the private garden used by residents of the main house and view was more directly into the main house (which I found somewhat uncomfortable). ‘Pets welcome’ - it should be made clear that the grass seen in the photos in front of the entrance is actually fenced off to keep the resident dogs of the main house contained, so there is nowhere to toilet your dog other than on the concrete access path. When I questioned this, I was advised I could walk all the way round the rear garden, down the side drive, back out onto the main road and down the next street for this, which was not ideal first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The two residing dogs in the main house are also clearly not used to having people stay in the annex as they stood barking at us through the annex windows on several occasions.

Lovely apartment, comfortable, warm and cosy,

Path to get to apartment quite uneven and pitch black at night, no outside lighting at all, had to use the path to take our dog for nightly walk as no garden for apartment use, the path would not be safe for anyone less mobile, cannot park close to apartment, parking at front of main property, access instructions sent whilst we were on our way

"Ideal location for exploring the surrounding areas"

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Slept well in the large bed. Prompt replies from owner when messages sent. Loved the friendly grey.cat. The location was ideal. Local pub 10 minute walk. Bus stops literally right outside the property with regular services to York and Hull at only £3.00 a journey ( July 2025)

Didnt like all the cobwebs, especially in the bedroom There were not enough coat hangers ( I can not travel light ) Didn't like to use an open pack of coffee. Lots of overhanging plants / trees on the path to the property. Bedside lamp wasn't plugged in on the right-hand side and couldn't see any socket to put it in.
