Magpie homestay & jungle trekking especially for guest trekking with us

Ich habe im Vorfeld mit der Besitzerin Asinar über Trekking , Transport usw komuniziert und wir haben dann das Angebot angenommen und später festgestellt, dass wir bei allen anderen Anbietern wesentlich teurer gekommen wären, die Unterkunft ist für den Dschungel einfach Perfekt, Essen sehr gut, Frühstück ebenfalls. Bei der Dschungeltour waren die beiden Hauseigenen Guides Nanang und Nasir ein echter Glücksgriff, mit so viel Begeisterung für die Natur und Tierwelt, immer auf uns bedacht, gleich zu anfang die Ansage... Ihr habt Urlaub und bestimmt das Tempo... Wir haben bestimmt 15 Orang Utans, des weiteren Gibbons, Hornbird, Schlangen im Schlaf und jede Menge sonstiger Tiere gesehen. Wir sind Wege abseits der Touri routen gegangen und ich würde die Tour sofort wieder machen, es war der Perfekte Tag, danke dafür

Very friendly staff , nice and comfortable bungalow. I spend nice time in Magpie Homestay.

Magpie Homestay is amazing. Asnair and her team are honestly the loveliest and made everything so simple for us! Before we arrived I messed up our dates and Asnair kindly made the amendments and couldn't have been more accommodating! Communication was always so quick and nothing was too much trouble. Asnair organised airport transfers for us which were amazing value and the drive was so smooth. The location is a little away from the other hotels/guesthouses but we really loved this element - the walk into town along the river is absolutely beautiful and so easy. The bungalow we stayed in was so pretty and had everything you could possibly need. And the gardens around the bungalow are beautiful. We ate at the homestay multiple times. The breakfast which was included was absolutely delicious and there were so many options and the menu for lunch/dinner was also great. I particularly loved the fish soup and my boyfriend loved the fish and chips (classic Brit abroad 😂). Everything was made fresh to order and was so tasty. We arranged a 2 day 1 night jungle trek through the homestay and both of our guides Ronnie and Nasir were amazing! We saw so many orangutans (including the big male John Cena!!) and so many other types of monkeys. The food on the trek was absolutely delicious and we certainly didn't go hungry! The camping was basic (as is to be expected in the jungle) but so picturesque next to the river where you can swim. The water taxi back was so fun. Special shout-out to Nasir who designed us multiple crowns and hats on the trek which made everyone else we came across in the jungle very jealous 😂 This is a very special place in a very special town and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Everything was perfect.

Eine sehr aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Man fühlt sich wie in einer kleiner Oase mit tropischen Blumen und Fischen um einen. 🧡 Asniar war immer sehr hilfsbereit und super lieb.

La cortesia e disponibilità di Asniar. Il trekking è stato ben organizzato con due guide molto brave. Anche i transfer prenotati tramite Asniar sono stati validi. Il bungalow è molto spazioso e comodo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo.

La posizione è scomoda, troppo defilata rispetto al paese. Per muoversi bisogna prendere obbligatoriamente un tuk tuk. Non c'è nulla di nulla nei dintorni.

El personal de Magpie es muy agradable. Muy atentos. Limpio. Cercano a las ubicaciones importantes y con un guia que es un fenomeno. El guia es Kiting.
