It was very clean, we had the deluxe family room and it was lovely. The bed was super comfortable

Nothing, it was great for what we needed. Maybe a small pan would be handy as there were lots of big pans the cooking facility were outstanding

First time in a hostel so was a bit different but a good experience. Outside looked a bit different but would stay again.

More the hostel thing so not really yhe property's fault ie didn't like shared toilets and showers. I'm also used to say having a TV. Again, these are more my inexperience with hostels - I would def stay again though.

Clean, had everything what I needed

Comfortable and clean. Lovely lounge area with lots of travel books to browse through. Parking available. Easy access via emailed door and room code. Close to beach for a walk.

Long walk to bathroom if needed in the night - back downstairs and past the lounge. There may have been a closer one but no one around to ask (I assume I was the only one staying there as I saw no other guests or staff either in the evening or before leaving in the morning - quite surreal!).

Room was basic but it was very cheap - but a lamp in the room would have been nice!

Unfortunately as a solo female guest I didn't feel comfortable with the set up. There was absolutely no one there all the lights were off but there were a few vehicles outside which made me feel uncomfortable as I had no idea who else was staying. I tried to call the number on booking but no one answered. I didn't find the bathrooms before I decided to leave but I would have had to walk through the cafe area to get to them im assuming which I didn't want to do in the middle of the night and bump into a stranger. I ended up staying somewhere else. I've never stayed anywhere without a reception and it just didn't feel right.

I liked that it was quiet, I wasn't bothered once, a bit like a community and felt very welcomed and look after.

No TV just to relax with at night time and no towels for a shower, but other than that I can't complain for the price.

Peaceful and relaxed accommodation with fantastic facilities enabling a self-catering stay. Great coffee machines with big flasks for perfect brews. Several lounges in which to quietly relax, as well as an outside table and bench. The dockside area itself is a tranquil place, let alone the beautiful surroundings areas which are easily reached by the nearby railway station.

I would prefer a warmer shower!
