Casa Cruz Verde by Peru Garden Hotels

Staff were amazing and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. We would definitely stay there again. The signage for the property is very small and most taxis/bus shuttles don't know it. So look for the green door and remember the street name and address. The location was good and convenient, some of the streets nearby are very busy with cars and pedestrians, but it does clear up once you are further away. The bathroom motion lights were a bit too sensitive, but we just kept the door closed to keep the lights from constantly going on and off.

This family goes above and beyond. The room was exactly what I needed and the bathroom… Fabulous.

This small unassuming family run hotel makes up in service and small touches what it may lack in « fanciness »! The proprietor and his son Jonah give five star service. The effort that has been made to make this place as lovely an experience as possible for their guests is to be commended. They are incredibly helpful. They had breakfast ready for us at 7:00 so we could eat and still make our train ( breakfast is from 7:00 to 9:00). The day before we found out in the middle of the night that our pickup for our tour had changed to 6:30… texted them at 2:30 in the morning to ask if they could possibly have a box breakfast for us and somehow they did!! The rooms are adequately spacious, the beds extremely comfortable with down comforters, and the bathrooms spacious with lots of counter space and showers with great water pressure and very warm water ( and I love a hot shower!)! The breakfast is the best we’ve had in our two months in South America… eggs to order, croissants and fresh bread, freshly made juice ( papi, mango or pineapple), excellent fresh fruit bowl and good strong coffee! The fresh flowers every where are also a nice touch ! I will stay here again… with pleasure! This hotel is a Cinderella…humble but with 4 star aspirations and effort !

We loved our stay! Casa Cruz Verde was an excellent location with the most amazing hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was delicious! We traveled as two females and loved the safe environment here.

i booked this property for the location and breakfast. they had originally told us we would get an omelette but since changed it to boxed mini sandwich cause our time was 30 mins earlier. it was pretty disappointing as they didn’t really explain it to me. as for the location, it’s directly in the city center which i expected some noise but i literally heard clubbing music until 2am. the owner and staff were very nice and amazing though.

Pros:: owners were really nice, breakfast was made to order, made us bag breakfast for our super early tour and even held our luggage while we were on our tour. Cons:: Being cold and rainy, I would expect good shower but instead was was just on warmer side, shower head was terrible, rooms are small. At least they had heater in the room which started beeping in the middle of the night twice and disturbed our sleep. Property has a lot of potential if they fix their showers.

This family run hotel is a real find. We received absolutely fantastic service. The hotel is central, making walking Cusco easy. Our room was spotless and the bed was remarkably comfortable. Breakfast is a real treat. The food is freshly prepared each day. We often needed only a snack for lunch given the size of the breakfast. On one of our days we left for a day trip at 4:30 am. A healthy bag lunch was provided and as we walked out the door, the owner checked to make sure we had our passports, as we would need then while on our excursion. By the end of our four night stay our hosts seemed more like good friends. We highly recommend Casa Cruz Verde.

Another excellent stay. Easily the nicest hotel i stayed at the whole time and everyone was so friendly. 10/10 i will stay again when i come back
