Casa Cruz Verde by Peru Garden Hotels

Our stay at Casa Cruz Verde was wonderful. The family running the hotel, were very welcoming and helpful. They provided advice about the city and assisted with requests, including luggage storage. The breakfast was a highlight which were made-to-order and they even packed a to-go pack when we had an early start. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for exploring Cusco's historic center. Casa Cruz Verde is highly recommended for those seeking a warm and welcoming stay in Cusco.

Excellent accommodation with possibly the nicest host in Cusco. Rooms very clean albeit a bit small. Right in the middle of Cusco and a great location.

Centrally located but quiet room separated from street by a courtyard. Johan and his father spoke good English and could not do enough for us. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. breakfast service was excellent

This hotel is set right in the middle of the city now when you pull up on it after your taxi drops you off you’ll be like where is it but trust me don’t let that scare you off. They’ll have the door open for you or the door may already be open but once you go through it and get to the hotel part, it is absolutely fabulous. It is safe. They treat you like family. I even had an excursion scheduled to get out to Mapu. . They treat you like family. I even had a excursion scheduled to get out to Machu Picchu and when I got on the bus for my excursion, I was the only one that had a breakfast made up for me and the other hotel did not do it for any of their patrons and keep in mind I had to be on the bus by 4:50 AM so to end this review all I want to say is it is convenient and very, very nice hotel.

Johan and family were wonderful. Hotel was small, intimate and very quiet. Everything was great.

The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. I particularly loved the fresh flowers in the bathroom, it’s was a beautiful touch of color. Additionally, Johan spoke excellent English and explained how everything worked in the room in detail, including how long to let the shower run to get hot water (he said 30 seconds but it was more like 60, no biggie). Breakfast, the morning I had it, was tasty as well- they made my eggs to order and accompanied it with bread, butter, jelly and fruit. A few things we noticed that weren’t huge turn offs but points of note: 1. The heater came really handy in the cooler evening weather but it primarily pointed downward on one side of the bed for a while. 2. We could hear some sort of music/bass until 2am but it didn’t affect our sleep because we had the noise of the heater going. 3. Walking distance to San Pedro’s plaza was excellent. 4. I needed oxygen my first night - it was 8 soles for the nose tube. I had it for 10 minutes and it was super helpful. They’re available 24 hours a day so asking for it at 10:30pm wasn’t trouble. All in all, I would recommend this place!

The location was great. We were about a 10 minute walk to the San Pedro Market and town square. The breakfast was great and the owners are awesome! Always willing to help in any way. Great people!!
