Rock Mill - Stunning Studio Apartment

The apartment, location, the staff member we met was good a nice guy. The Lady looking after the building very helpful.

There was an issue with finding appt number and pass code which delayed us when we arrived. The app is poor and the AI chat not good.

The Rock Mill is in a great location for exploring the Peak District. The facilities are excellent.

The condition of the studio flat was unimportant when the noise from the lift opposite meant disturbed sleep from lift noise and people naturally congregating by the lift.

Noise also from the busy road could also be heard in the room. The fact that cheap earplugs were provided spoke volumes.

Very clean and everything ai needed for a lovely weekend.

The location was excellent for me as I was visiting family in the village. It is a pleasant development and well thought out with very good facilities.

The quality of the bed linen was disappointing - thin, bobbled polycotton sheets. When I stripped the bed as requested in the checking out instructions, I found that the mattress had no washable cover and was very badly stained, and there was an unwashed blood stain on one of the pillow protectors. This is disgusting and unhygienic. The mugs were not properly washed, there was no inner bag in the bin and the cooker hood filter was filthy. It was a pleasant apartment in a good development totally let down by very poor cleanliness.
