Les nombreux commentaires négatifs sur Google nous ont fait un peu peur après avoir effectué la réservation. Mais globalement nous avons trouvé la petite chambre au rez de chaussée très mignonne et agréable ! C’est quand même un vrai luxe d’être les pieds dans le sable. La baignoire est aussi une super idée.

Les commentaires sur le bruit sont néanmoins fondés, nous savons que c’est une chambre en centre ville mais le bruit est vraiment tres tres fort… un rideau ou une porte en plus (ou même des boules quies) permettraient vraiment d’avoir une meilleure expérience. Globalement nous trouvons que le prix est un peu trop élevé pour le lieu, avec un prix comme cela au Sri Lanka l’expérience doit être vraiment haut de gamme.

The location was great, right in-front of the beach, and walking distance to a lots of nice restaurants and cafes.

During the night it can get quite noisy because of the waves, but for those who love the sound of the ocean it actually adds to the experience.

Very small. No where for bags. No safe. Doors didn’t lock and had to get them to repair. Beware it is like staying in a night club with all the music nearby and all you can hear all day is the traffic noise and horns beeping. Us and another couple had to leave this location on the first night due to noise and loss of power and they moved us to their other hotel but kept the money and didn’t refund it through bookings so booking lost out on fees. The hotel they moved use to. No service for 3 days and on last day no running water and it was ment to be 5 star.

Very very Noisy . Small Room size. No hotel staff on site. Fire hazard of a room. No safe. Broken doors. Only one pillow. No room service.

We recommend this place 100%. If you want to experience the real essence of Ahangama, this is the place to stay. Anyone saying it’s noisy is probably not looking to stay in Ahangama itself, not an issue with this property in particular. Ahangama is a lively village by nature, and that’s exactly what makes staying here so special.
