Похоже что более менее сносные отзывы написаны ланкийцами про отель Медуза. Если скакать тезисно про шум и комфорт: - Дорога живет внутри номера, буквально. Тук-туки, строительная техника, автобусы ездят вам по голове. Шум от каждого транспортного средства залетает в номер и циркулирует в нем еще долго после проезда малины. - Шум от моря делает тоже самое. Вы не просто не будете спать, вы забудете о сне совершенно. - Ночной клуб! Музыка закончилась в районе 2 часов ночи. Всегда любил взбодриться перед хорошим сном. Попозже лечь, пораньше встать - залог хорошего отдыха. - Камера на террасе первого этажа включает яркую лампочку после захода солнца и она будет светить вам в лицо всю ночь через шторку. Мне пришлось заклеить ее пластырем для ран, чтоб было не так светло. Так же камера направлены четко на постель. - Кондиционер так же специально направлен на кровать, но так чтобы вам продуло голову, уши нос и т д. Мне еще повезло, так как я лысый и холодный ветер отражается от кожи и уходит в сторону. Млей жене повезло меньше из-за волос, ей продуло уши🤣🤣 - Интернет крайне плохой. Не то чтобы я был избалован цивилизацией, но он совершенно плохой. Я скачивал приложение с режимом ожидания 13 часов, потом кто-то отвалился с линии и приложение скачалось за 49 минут. - Вытяжка кафе заводится в районе 6-7 часов и добавляет вибраций в стену🤣🤣. Я уже писал что забудете про сон, я повторюсь на всякий случай. - Душ на террасе зачем-то сделан над кактусами, наверное тоже специально! - Видовые дизайнерские ворота через которые вы будете смотреть на океан. Они очень трудно открываются из-за камней на полу, точнее вам нужно будет расчищать камни чтоб они открылись. - Забудьте про парковку возле отеля, иногда машина или тук-тук закроет вам даже вход в номер. Спасибо скажите хорошим кафе вокруг. Отель находится не в деревне а внутри транспортного хаба. Поверьте мне как жителю Москвы, я знаю что такое шум, здесь это мегашум. Фото не соответствуют действительности.

If you like a village and beach vibe, this is your place. We loved it. Friends had recommended it to us, and it completely lived up to it. You have cafés right next door, real village life, and direct access to the beach, it really feels special.

We wouldn’t recommend focusing on the few lower reviews, after staying here, it’s clear they come from guests expecting a completely silent, isolated place, rather than the authentic atmosphere of a Southeast Asian town. If you appreciate the charm of Ahangama, this apartment is perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Some reviews almost discouraged us from booking, but in the end we trusted the overall 10/10 rating, and we’re so glad we did. The place is absolutely spectacular and fully deserves that score. It’s important to understand that this is a matter of choosing the right location for your travel style. If you’re looking for total silence or a remote, isolated retreat, then staying right in the center of Ahangama might not be for you. Ahangama is a lively town, and with that comes the natural charm and background noise of local life. For us, this was part of the experience, and the accommodation itself is beautiful, well cared for, and truly special. The issue is not the place at all, it’s simply the nature of the town. If you enjoy being in the heart of things, this spot is a solid 10/10.

Location was great, cant beat those views! Having direct access to beach from bottom apartment is a game changer. Room was clean and was well equipped. Water filter is a nice touch

It can be noisy at night however we were advised prior to our stay! No issue for us but could be for light sleepers

Uiteindelijk niets.

De ligging , super drukke straat. Geen directe toegang tot strand. Achterstallig onderhoud. Foto’s geven niet de realiteit weer. Mag wel een flinke opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Prijs/kwaliteit niet in verhouding.

The location.

Believe the reviews written about this property. We booked the ground floor, it doesn’t even look like the photos as they have a massive black gate blocking the view, the terrace needs better maintaining. Run down and over priced.

Unhygienic rooms are not maintained. Cancelled the booking n arranged stay by own at different place

Medusa is a spectacular place. It’s true that it’s located right in the middle of the village, and that comes with its own character, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. You’re immersed in real local life, with direct access to the beach. Literally five meters from your bed and you’re in the ocean. Location: 10/10 Decoration & vibe: 10/10 Staff: 10/10
