Sukhothai Treasure Resort & Spa

The location, close to the National Park

Not clean, the bathroom in the room was not clean. My wife went to use the gym and it was very dusty. During the first night the room phone kept ringing, we informed the reception in the morning, and there was no intention to investigate or offer an explanation for this. We decided not to have another sleepless night and left even though we had booked for two nights.

Great price on a last minute discount special. Clean. Got a mini tour of facilities in golf cart on check-in, just as well because I wouldn’t have found my room other wise and it was so far away from front desk.

No hot water in room. about a 300m walk to our room and much of it was exposed to weather. Chaos at breakfast, with no one assisting with seating, people pushed passed us and to grab the table we were walking to. food was average. For the first time ever the I found the swimming pool too hot 34degrees.

L’accueil à l’arrivée et durant le séjour . (Excepté au moment du départ à la réception !) Le personnel a été disponible et souriant. Chambre spacieuse. Produits et eau à volonté. Ménage régulier et bien fait. Piscine à température idéale et entretenue. Jardin très agréable.

Un peu moins le restaurant malgré la propreté et le service.

Installation vétuste

The staff was lovely (Yes Daniel, you too), the restaurant was good. We were travelling privately and this is the "bus stop" for tour operators as well. So it's either crowded or almost empty. They are doing a thorough revamp of the buildings and rooms, which is needed. but overall a very good place in Sukothai.

The rooms need an upgrade. But they are working on the rooms upgrade. Again, its all very clean and beds are very good. Just that some elemenst of the rooms are a bit out of date and need replacement. (Did I mention they are working on that?)

Close to the historic park, beautiful pool and spa, very helpful staff. Daniel was very helpful and precious. The resort is perfect for a stop between Bangkok and Chiang Mai!
