Sukhothai Treasure Resort & Spa

Very nice property set in beautiful, well maintained grounds - lots of flowers / waterlilies / Lotus. Comfortable, very clean room. Great, friendly service. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. The property offers a shuttle to the historic park and bicycles. We had a car so didn't need either.

The bathroom was not clean; there was plenty of rubbish/litter around the property perimeter

Property looked nice overall and rooms were fine, the pool looked nice too but too cold for us.

The most important thing for us as a frequently traveling family, is a good night’s sleep. We arrived late at this hotel, about 10pm. And our kids were tired. Someone helped us get into the rooms (we had 2 adjoining rooms) and he came inside to switch on the AC, so the rooms were pretty hot inside…. When he came inside he left both doors wide open, for about 5 minutes. We didn’t realize the hallways were full of mosquitos, which the employee should have known. So our rooms were in no time teeming with mosquitos! Without us realizing at first. We spent a horrible night, bothered by mosquitos and our son had bites all over his face. Horrible night’s sleep and at 6am we were woken up by loud yelling from employees near our room and furniture moving in the room upstairs. Night 2 was without too many mosquitos but again woken up by 6am with loud noise and moving of furniture. We had planned to sleep until about 9am but that was impossible here. Reception should at least inform cleaners that we arrived late at the hotel and to be quiet near people’s rooms when they are inside, at least until like 8am.

Hated the bathroom- very dangerous step down from bedroom into bathroom & again into shower. Lighting in bathroom was very dark. Safe in the room did not work, even when we called maintenance & they couldn’t get it to work. When I turned bathroom tap on, brown water came out of it.This hotel is really showing its age unfortunately. The staff at the front desk was very helpful in giving us suggestions for restaurants recommended.

Pool amazing Breakfast comprehensive Wine bar restaurant for dining was really nice modern

The night main restaurant was more like a cafeteria style to cope with the large group tours so very bright and noisy but the wine bar was Priceless for food and wine choice and quality at a very affordable price
