Idyllic, rustic, traditional cottage in rural village with wood burner and a great local pub

Perfect in every way. Comfortable and has everthing we needed for a short break. I would love to return.

Nothing we didn’t like. It could have a deep clean but it was perfectly acceptable

Great location. Lovely comfortable cottage. Nice beds and the wood burner was great. Just across the road from a nice pub too.

Good location and warm property.

The property has no outdoor space apart from a table and chairs at the front of the house, which is on the roadside next to the neighbours front door. The cuterlry needs replacing, it was of very poor quality and there were not enough for four guests, only 3 dinner knives and very few forks and spoons. For the cost of the cottage, I would have expected better facilties, such as an under counter freezer and dishwasher. There was plenty of space for these items.. The chairs in the lounge were old and uncomfortable. I emailed the owner prior to our stay with a question, which she never bothered to reply to, though now I realise she probably didn't want to say there was no freezer.
