Letting Rooms @ Charles Dickens

Well when we checked in they had giving us a double room instead of the twin room we booked and when I mentioned it I was told in was booking.coms fault and there was nothing they could do about it and when we wanted a early night we couldn't sleep because the music from the bar was way too loud until after midnight

A few disappointing things, our room had mistakenly not been cleaned when we arrived at teatime so had to wait, which was inconvenient as we were on a tight schedule. We were compensated with a few drinks a couple of days later but did cause us stress. The room was freezing all weekend with no heating, very uncomfortable! TV didnt work, sink taps H & C wrong way, no antislip mat in bath below shower, no heating in bathroom either. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, which was a shame!

Was quite noisy could hear room adjacent.

The booking in was at a crowed loud bar

You could come and go when ever u wanted tools

Very basic and no room service once the bar was shut
