Floating Hotel- Happy Nile Boat

First of all a big shout out to Mr Ahmed. What a legend. Absolutely sorted every for me, and for the best price possible. Truly a gentleman. The boat is a superb place to stay on the east bank; got a beautiful view of the West Bank day and night. Excellent location just a few minutes from both ferry landings, and the pizza place opposite was grand. Really made my stay a joyous experience.

The view from the boat was amazing. Ahmed, our host, is the most welcoming person. He made everything easier for us.

Ahmed pretended to sell us a boat trip from asuan to Luxor and it never happened. He promised to give us the money back but he never did. his sons work on the boat, but I felt uncomfortable around them. wouldn’t recommend to go there if you are a woman.

Ahmed and the boys were like family to us. The rooms were very satisfying as well, with fans and view to the Nile. Beautiful!!!

Some issues with the electricity and water supply, and not hot water!

The property is nice, its on a boat. Its not easy to get too, I managed to find the local boat to the other side and get across and walk 10mins to the boat. Room was great, double room with a shower.

Ahmed the main man he is a good guy but i feel like the tours are OVERPRICED. I paid for the driver and he charged $15 dollars each for me and my friend so 30 dollars in total to take us to a few locations. This is probably my fault as i did not mention that it was too expensive. I am a budget backpacker and the train was too expensive to aswan and asked if there is a cheaper way, unfortunately his son overcharged me 5x for the train ticket which cost 150 and made me pay 800. Ahmed did try sort out this issue but it was too late as I left and he did say if i ever come back he will give me a couple days free! GO DIRECT TO AHMED IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES.

There's no curtain in the bathroom and we didn't get breakfast while it mentioned our room is included breakfast

Superb location, right on the river. Super friendly host and very very flexible check-in/check-out time that made it super handy for us. Nice breakfast as well. No hot water and we never really got wifi working so this might be an issue for some.

Quality. Staff, room, bathroom, bedsheets, space, cleaness, view… Rooftop. Evertything is great and has good quality.
