The property is in a fantastic grounds with a beautiful garden, ideal for kids to play in in Summer.

The wifi wasn't great, so the TV didn't work and as much as DVDs were provided... there was no DVD player :/

Nagyon szép szálláshely, csendes környéken, igazi vidéki angol ház, mintha Miss Marple lakná. Szép kertje van. A szállásadó részletes leírást adott az odavezető útról. Szállásadónk vajat, teát, kávét is előkészített számunkra melyet ezúton is köszönünk. Very nice accommodation, in a quiet area, a real English country house, as if Miss Marple lived here. It has a nice garden. The host gave a detailed description of the way there. The host provided butter, tea, and coffee. Thank you for all your attention.

Az ágyunk kissé kellemetlenül nyikorgott minden mozdulatra. Our bed was a little bit squeaky. It should be fixed.

There was no internet thus no TV. Although we were away on a break, we do like to keep in touch with current affairs. However the property was lovely and the grounds.

Minde jó volt, az emeleti szobák helyett földszinti szobák kényelmünket növelték volna, de a ház adottsága ezt nem teszi lehetővé, sazaz így jó ahogy van.

Appreciated the milk/cereal/coffee left for breakfast. The play kitchen for the kids was also a nice touch. The place was clean and had a nice modern shower room and kitchen. Very good communication from the owners.

We knew there was a working cow farm next door but hadn’t appreciated how strong the smell would be. Not the biggest fan of doors that we can’t open from our side and appear to go through to the adjoining property. The main bed was very squeaky - felt like it could fall apart every time you turned over!

A great location for the first half day of route 72 cycling trip from Whitehaven (40 miles approx), a lovely quiet and private place to stay with decent cooking facilities. Could be a nice base for exploring the area too.
